Korea is one of the most innovative regions in the world, with advanced transport systems like KTX and home of the main magnetic levitation commuters like Incheon Airport Maglev. The evolution towards hyperloop will need big corporations, institutions, researchers and startups to cooperate to make the system a reality and in this workshop we will connect the dots to understand what’s needed to create a robust hyperloop value chain for South Korea.

Masterclass 3: Development and marketing of a hyperport transport system for standard ship containers to relieve the strain on the traffic infrastructure

Together with infrastructure providers, hyperloop OEMs, logistics service providers and customers from different branches we will put our focus on long-distance connections with hyperloop. We will cover aspects such as technical feasibility, legal requirements and the economic benefits. The China Train (China Belt & Road), connecting China with Europe via rail tracks, will be a promising use case and base for the analysis.
